A lukewarm business, deadbeat staff and an unsuccessful love life. Not necessarily too much to worry about if you're 20-something, but 30-something? Staring reality in the face can be a daunting experience. It's up to you whether you accept it smoothly, or go toward it kicking and screaming. This, anyway, is the case for this weekend's watch hero. Watch his hilarious transition to adulthood in High Fidelity.

Let's get it on. Maybe tonight

Rob Gordon (John Cusack) is a former Club DJ who owns a record store in Chicago named Championship Vinyl. A 30-something music snob, Rob hasn't quite settled on the idea that he is an adult. His business is dwindling and his deadbeat staff, Dick (Todd Louiso) and Barry (Jack Black) are unwanted - having been hired for just a few days a week, they end up coming to work everyday. They, too, are music snobs like Rob and openly criticise the music taste of customers, perhaps lending to the unsuccessful nature of the business. Rob has an obsession with creating 'Top Five' lists, usually attributing to music. However, when his longtime girlfriend, Laura (Iben Hjejle) walks out on him, he decides to compose a list of his top five breakups to help him assess where he is going wrong in his love life. He then proceeds to meet with these past flames to get the truth on why their relationships didn’t work out. Will Rob learn from his failings? Will Laura want him back? This movie is a showcase of talent. Not only do the main cast shine, but performances from Joan Cusack, Lisa Bonet, Lili Taylor, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Tim Robbins are all brilliant. We hope you enjoy this romantic-comedy.
