THE 'GAL-ENTINES' DAY DINNER - CHICK 'N' SOURS, FRIED CHICKEN IN ISLINGTON, HAGGERSTON AND COVENT GARDEN
First opened in 2015, Chick 'n' Sours offers some of the best fried chicken options in London. From sweet and sticky Korean influences to Southern fried classics like fiery buffalo wings, the 'Disco Wings' section of the menu offers a really unique take on your classic American street-food style picks. In contrast. you can balance out all those explosive fried chicken flavours with their vibrant pickled watermelon salad or their tangy Bang Bang cucumbers. Given away in the name, Chick 'n' Sours contrastingly offers a great selection of sour-style brilliantly unusual style cocktails to get those party juices flowing. The Haggerton branch is perfectly placed right in a little slip road on Kingsland Road, where some of the cutest little bars like Brilliant Corners and Pamela sit as neighbours. This delicious find gets rather packed so be sure to go along early for your chance to get a table for your gal squad on a special evening.

THE ALL-IN LOVE EXPERIENCE - SOCIAL EATING HOUSE, SOHO
Part of Jason Atherton Restaurants, Social Eating House offers a complex bistro style menu and (my favourite part) sampling menus for those who love to try a bit of everything. The restaurant, which was awarded a Michelin star back in 2013 is renowned for offering some of the best food in London's dining scene. As vibrant as its surroundings, we recommend grabbing a stool with your partner or bestie right in front of the open kitchen for an unforgettable experience. Not only will this plush, dim-lit setting impress your date but this year, Head Chef, Paul Hood will be serving up a special Valentines day Sampling menu at only £90!
Reserve your spot before it’s too late! All reservations can be made via their website here, and be sure to check out the Valentines Day Sampler Menu!
SEXY AND VIBRANT - KILN, THAI FOOD IN SOHO
There’s nothing more than ruins a date than average food. This next place is the cosiest little restaurant packed full of ambience and flavours that will blow your mind. If you’re looking to put your partners taste buds to the test then you’ve got to try Kiln in Soho! This unique Thai restaurant focuses on traditional Eastern Thai styles of cooking and grilling using clay pots. Think juicy grilled beef served with fiery chilli dipping sauce or densely flavoured curries that are simply irresistible. We would recommend going for anything that’s on special, especially if it’s a fish dish! And go crazy on the lamb skewers - you’re going to want a few of those! Unfortunately, this choice will require an early start, as they don’t take reservations for less than 4 people. But don’t let that put you off, Kiln is forever worth the waiting time! We recommend passing on your number to the front of house team upon arrival and finding a quiet local drinks spot to pass time with some cocktails.
LOW KEY BUT QUITE SPECIAL - UCHI, JAPANESE FOOD IN HACKNEY
This spot is perfect for the besties or the couples that have ‘been-there-done-that’ and just want a quiet night away from the bustling streets of the inner city. Uchi serves up Classic Sushi and robata dishes with a large vegetarian and vegan influence. Try the miso glazed aubergine that is flavoured to perfection and split a bottle of Saki with your beloved. This beautiful little spot hosts stunning Japanese interiors paired with minimal brassy toned decor - a really low-key winner. Uchi is also doing a special Valentines sampler menu at £55 per head with a selection of 9 decadent dishes from Wagyu Katsu to Salmon Sashimi.
