Vans have a knack for collaborating with indulviduals that embody the meaning of creative expression, celebrating non-conformists of the world, and their most recent partnership is no exception!

The infamous workings of feminist visionary and surrealist artist, Frida Kahlo are set to bless the canvas of our favourite skate sneakers from Vans Vault. The three piece capsule collection in partnership with the Frida Kahlo coporation is due to release this weekend.

Featuring three of Fridas most infamous paintings, including two world-famous self-portraits, the collection is made up of premium leathers and beautifully intricut embroidery and paintwork. The Vans Vault Authentic LX, Sk8-Hi LX and Slip-On LX for the very first time, are used to host paitings, "Las Sandías", "The two Fridas" and "Self-Portrait with Thorn Necklace and Hummingbird". Inspired by her Mexican heritage and culture, Frida explores questions of identity, post colonialism, gender, class and race in her world renowned paintings.
