This week, we are off to the streets of Hong Kong. Following the triad gangs of the '90s, we look at what trust, loyalty and influence mean. Will you side with Ho Nam? Or Ugly Kwan? Get set for this weekend's watch, Young And Dangerous.
Fight to the end, no regrets.
In the mid 1980's, teenagers Chan Ho Nam (Ekin Cheng) and his friends, 'Chicken' (Jordan Chan), Dai Tin Yee (Michael Tse), Pou Pan (Jerry Lam) and older brother Chow Pan (Jason Chu) idolise the local Hung Hing society of gangs and one leader, Uncle Bee (Franki Chi-Hung Ng) But when an altercation with another Hung Hing leader, Ugly Kwan (Francis Ng) and his gang happens, Ho Nam and his friends decide that they will join the society when they are older and follow Uncle Bee. Cut to 1995 and Ho Nam and his troupe are 'heavies' for Uncle Bee. Making a name for themselves, Ugly Kwan, offers Ho Nam money to come over to his side, but Ho Nam refuses. This kicks off a series of events which will break friendships and loyalties. Who will win? What will the outcome be? Watch to find out!
Based on the popular comic, Guwak Tsai, the Young and Dangerous series is beyond brilliant with excellent performances, green screenplay and amazing soundtrack. If you love this first movie, we recommend watching the first three in the series. We hope you enjoy!
