Feature: Champion becomes part of the pam fam!

We are super excited to welcome Champion to the brand fold this autumn winter season! With a very rich heritage in sport, Champion has stood the test of time by creating garments that have done the same.

Back in 1919, two brothers found a large gap in the up and coming sporting market. Garments worn at the time for activity were hardly what we would call comfortable in modern times - cotton chinos and shirts. So the brothers established Knickerbocker Knitting and set about creating heavy duty cotton products for the flourishing sports market. Fast forward to 1952, after plenty of innovations such as the hooded sweatshirt, that became favoured by dock workers, the sports bra, made initially by two jock straps, and a brand name change to Champion, the idea of the Reverse Weave construction was tested and successful. The brothers found that after multiple washes, sweatshirts were beginning to shrink, giving wearers an unwanted cropped finish. In order to avoid mis-shapen garments, the idea of reversing the weave came to be, eliminating the shrinkage and improving durability. This is Champion’s signature mark in the sports and leisurewear market and is their most premium offering!

We are very excited to welcome the latest women’s Champion fall collection which is a lovely mix of staple and standout pieces! For staples, we are loving the Champion Crewneck T-Shirt - a simple ribbed white tee that will do you well all year round - and also the Champion Hooded Sweatshirt in black - made using their famous Reverse Weave, this hoodie works perfectly as a layering piece under jackets and coats. For standout, there is no question - we absolutely LOVE the matching multi coloured camo tracksuit. Comprising of a half zip sweat and relaxed track pants, aside from the print being totally amazing, this two piece is finished in a delicious teddy fleece. Best way to rug up and look rad during the cooler months.
