Inside the new adidas Originals x Dragon Ball Z collaboration!

Following the announcement of the highly anticipated collaboration with anime show, Dragon Ball Z and adidas Originals, we've decided to give a little first-look of the unique collaboration!

Based on 7 characters from the show, which ran on the Cartoon Network between 1998 and 2003, adidas Originals will be launching each character in a battle with another. First up is the Goku vs Frieza. Seen on the YUNG-1 silhouette is the "Freiza" colourway displaying a unique take on the new rebirthed silhouette. Dark purple panelling dominates the sneaker including pops of bright pink on the bottom sole and inner lateral side in a corduroy fabric. You can find two extra components on the heel, which resembles the purple dome-like features on the Dragon Ball Z character. The "Goku" colourway featured on a ZX 500 RM showcases a vibrant orange suede upper and a yellow nylon fabric on the toe box. The heel tab features the Kanji logo, meaning "wisdom", whilst on the inner lateral side you'll find a nimbus cloud embroidered in yellow thread! There's lots of beautiful details that i'm sure will win over many Dragon Ball Z fans.

adidas Originals paid huge attention to their audience with this exclusive collaboration. Each pair is perfectly packaged in Dragon Ball Z merchandise inside and out. If you collect all 7 boxes and stack them together you'll find yourself with a neat image of all the featured characters, similarly to if you ever lined up your old comic books.
