10 Years of Pam Pam: A Look Back at Our Journey

10 Years of Pam Pam: A Look Back at Our Journey

This year marks a very special milestone for us: ten years since we first opened the doors to Pam Pam on Bethnal Green Road in Shoreditch. A whole decade. It’s hard to believe how much has changed and how much of our original vision still guides us today.

How It All Began

Back in 2015, we opened Pam Pam with a clear idea in mind: to create a space that celebrated women who love sneakers. At the time, women’s sneaker culture was often treated as an afterthought. We saw a gap and more importantly, a community waiting to be recognised.

Our little store in Shoreditch became the UK’s first women’s only sneaker store, a place where people could browse, hang out, and feel seen. The space was lined with our carefully chosen sneaker selection. However we didn’t just want to sell shoes we wanted to build a community.

A Home in Shoreditch

Shoreditch will always be a huge part of our story. Tucked into Bethnal Green Road, just a stones throw from Brick Lane, our shop became a home for sneaker lovers, creatives, and curious passers-by.

From sneaker drops to collaborations, launch parties and late-night chats with customers, the store was alive with energy. We’ll always remember the faces, conversations that filled the space

.

Closing Our Doors in 2022

In 2022, after seven wonderful years in Shoreditch, we made the difficult decision to close our physical store. Closing our doors didn’t mean saying goodbye. Instead, it opened a new chapter. We shifted our full focus to Pam Pam online, allowing us to connect with our community far beyond East London.

The Heart of Pam Pam Lives Online

Today, we continue to do what we’ve always done best: curate sneakers, clothing, and lifestyle pieces with intention. You can still find the brands and styles we love from Carhartt WIP and Damson Madder to Veja, UGG, Diadora, and more all carefully selected with the same eye we had on day one.

Our online platform allows us to stay true to our roots while reaching sneaker lovers around the world. And although our physical space is no longer there, the spirit of the store the community, the culture, the connection remains at the heart of everything we do.

A Decade of Gratitude

Ten years is no small thing. We wouldn’t be here without the support our incredible customers who believed in us, shopped with us, shared our story, and walked through those doors.

From Shoreditch to screens across the globe, Pam Pam has always been more than just a sneaker store. It’s a love letter to the community that made it all possible.

Here’s to the next chapter and to the next ten years. 🖤
