When we heard The saucony Azura was getting a rerelease we were so excited and when we finally got to see it, it didn’t disappoint. Originally released in 1988 this guy was a total knock out with both runners and streetwear fans. Just take a second to look at it, its like it just jumped out of every hair metal video, every cult film of that era yet still remains timeless.

Saucony says: "A lightweight, fast runner, the Saucony Azura returns in its original colourway that features an upper made of 100% organic, synthetic micro-suede, with the original torsional rigidity bar in place as well. No hot air or hype, just one seriously awesome sneaker.”

I mean, that's well ahead of the curve, a trainer in the late 80s made from organic synthetic suede that lasts and is built for high performance. You have to give credit where credit is due.

One thing I absolutely love, and I think it works well for this silhouette. Is that they haven’t changed it. They had a sneaker that just works and they rereleased it 30 years later. Don't get me wrong, sometimes sneakers need a little reworking to bring them up to speed with modern standards. But this guy was already ahead of the curve 30 years ago.

If you haven’t picked up on it yet, we are huge Saucony fans and you should be too!
