Feature: Supermoon Boots

Did you manage to peak outside the window last night? If you did then you probably saw a glimpse of Aprils ‘Pink Moon’ - lucky you!!

Although the moon isn’t actually pink, those who took the below images managed to capture the essence of its birth name, which was coined by Northern Native American after the wild ground phlox, which bloom in the early stages of Spring.

The supermoon could be seen large as it reaches it’s the closest point to Earth. Reaching its peak, in the UK at 03:55 BST on Wednesday, Aprils full moon lit the skies, whilst spectators capture the beauty of the bright pink moon. We take a look at some of the amazing photography of the super moon and our favourite moon inspired colour combinations to match, because… well, who doesn’t dream of walking on the moon?
