Indigo Forever

Into the deep blue.

The earliest use of Indigo was first documented in Huaca Prieta, in contemporary Peru, and originally extracted colour from the Indigo plant. Rich in tone, Indigo colours are reminiscent of Ultramarine which translates from Latin as "beyond the sea".

Wearing Indigo is delightfully simple. If you’re a fan of getting on board with the real deals, you’ll love the indigo on our Levi’s LMC 501 Crop Jeans. This pair is made from lovely raw denim and features super neat selvedge detailing on the outseam. Pair with a simple white tee, and you’ll be rocking a look that can be traced throughout history, mostly during the popularity of indigo denim worn in the 1950s.

If you’re looking to deep dive further into the Indigo denim trend then look no more. The L.F Markey Frances Boilersuit takes inspiration from silhouettes of the ‘70s and is complete with contrast stitching - something we absolutely love on our Indigo denim. If you’re new to the colour and love a classic vibe, our cosy L.F Markey Julian Knit is a beautiful deep indigo shade and is perfect for throwing over a post-work outfit during the cooler parts of the evening.

And finally, who says Indigo can’t reach down to the toes! The lovely Air Max 90 ‘Lahar’ pack from Nike, includes a blend of grey and indigo tones for those that love a wild card in their wardrobe. Pair with an outfit that’s equally standout as the sneaker or go for a matchy-matchy vibe with darker tones for a simple look.
