Collection: Women’s Ray-Ban Sunglasses

Women's Ray-Ban sunglasses, from the brand Bausch & Lomb started in the 1930s to give American pilots a lens that cut glare. We stock metal aviators, including the Old Aviator, and the Wayfarer in its Original, Mega and folding versions. Alongside them are the Jackie Ohh, the Clubmaster Way, the Daddy-O, the Elliot and the Flacko. For more, see our sunglasses and Persol.

Ray-Ban Aviator Sunglasses for Women

Two of the frames here are metal aviators: the Old Aviator and the RB3733, which has polarised lenses to cut glare. The Cats 5000 is the plastic option, a frame Ray-Ban describes as its reinterpretation of the Aviator. The original Aviator lens was Ray-Ban's G-15, a dark green lens that lets through 15% of visible light. It was made for pilots looking into a bright sky.

Ray-Ban Wayfarer Sunglasses for Women

The Wayfarer is Ray-Ban's square plastic frame from the 1950s. We have the Original Wayfarer in two versions. One is the Bio-Based, whose acetate Ray-Ban says is partly made from plant sources, cotton or wood pulp. Next to it are the Mega Wayfarer and the Wayfarer Folding Classic. The Clubmaster Way is a version of the Clubmaster, which Ray-Ban added to the range in the 1980s.

How Ray-Ban Sizes Work

Most of the Ray-Bans here are named with their model code, their colour code and their lens width in millimetres, so the RB2140 901 50 is an Original Wayfarer with a 50mm lens. To check a size, compare that last number with a pair you already own. Some models come in more than one width: the RB3733 is made at 56mm and 59mm, and ours is the 59mm. The RB4457D and RB4473D are Ray-Ban's low bridge fit, cut for a lower nose bridge or higher cheekbones, so they're the ones to try if sunglasses usually slide down your nose or rest on your cheeks.
