Gramicci Sizing: What Size Should You Buy?
Short answer: go one size up. Gramicci labels carry two sizes, a US one and an Asian one, and we sell by the Asian size, which comes up smaller than you'd expect. If you're normally a medium, buy a large.
Sizes get listed inconsistently from one website to the next, so it's worth going by the measurements rather than the letter. The chart below uses Gramicci's own garment measurements for the Gramicci Pant, which most people call the G-Pant.

All measurements are in centimetres. Waist and hip are measured all the way round. Thigh and hem are measured flat across one leg.

These are Gramicci's own measurements for the Gramicci Pant. All measurements are approximate and can vary by a centimetre or so from batch to batch.
Do Gramicci pants run small?
It's the label that catches people out, more than the cut. The Asian size is one step up from the US size on the same pair, so an Asian L is a US M. The pant itself has a relaxed fit through the seat and thigh and sits low on the waist.
The waist has more give than most trousers. There's elastic plus a webbing belt built in, so each size covers about 24cm between the elastic at rest and fully stretched, and the belt can pull it in further. Check your own waist against that range rather than a single number.
How long are Gramicci pants?
Long. The inside leg is 82cm on every size, so plenty of people roll the hem once or twice, or have them taken up. Rolled, they sit well over trainers and show a bit of sock.
What about shorts?
Same principle. One size up from your usual, with the same built-in belt to take up any slack.
If you're between sizes
Go up. They're meant to sit relaxed, and the belt takes in whatever slack you don't want. Sizing down for a closer fit works against the shape of the trouser.
