Saucony brings the Azura back after 30 years!

First released in 1988, the Saucony Azura was introduced as a road runner providing some of the best running support of its time.

In celebration of the reissue, Saucony has partnered with Sneaker Freaker to relaunch the original promotional material from the Azura OG back in 1988. The video, clearly inspired by digital innovations of the time, features the sneaker being pushed to its limits, running on roads and on the track. Having been built upon the core principles of being light and fast back in 1988, the Azura OG features a Torsional Rigidity Bar (TRB) which was introduced to absorb shock upon impact and enhance midsole support.

The Azura OG features a crisp white micro suede and lightweight mesh, lending to the durability and ventilation of the sneaker when running. Sky Blue and Marigold Yellow on the Azura mimic the OG colours from the late ’80s when the sneaker was first introduced, making it a perfect revival of the classic.
