feature: pam pam goes to the HOC event in Paris!

On the 23rd of May, we ventured out to Paris to attend the highly anticipated adidas Originals' Home of Classics launch event. The all-new Home of Classics collection features a selection of adidas Originals core heritage sneakers from three sports inspired adidas moments in history. Taking inspiration from adidas basketball sneakers the German brand reintroduces, The Nizza Hi and Super Court, whilst classic adidas street styles are reissued with the addition of the Stan Smith Recon and Continental 80 styles. The collection is entirely reimagined in off-white premium leathers taking away the focus from the sneakers and putting all its attention of the wearer.

The launch event consisted of multiple rooms and 'creative pockets' which allowed for vistors to skate, cycle, play soccer and dance in an all-white room, creating markings and footprints on the walls and floor. The beautiful and minimalist entrance hall hosted a display of worn and torn pairs from the collection that had been used by creative French locals in the sports and artist community. Vearing off from the entrance hall, we went into a locker style room to collect our own pairs from the collection, the Super Courts!! The Nizza Hi, Superstar and Continental 80 are just a few notable styles featured in the all-white collection, each of which had their own designated area which communicating the style to the audience. The shoes were spread out in each room with details on history, sports heritage and design properties. Paris-local collborators, LA Draft, worked with visitors in a t-shirt printing workshop in a designated section of the event. La Draft, is a Paris-local vintage clothing company which works to repurpose old garments to a luxury standard. Heading into the night, the event hosted a huge line up of performances by British Rap artist, IAMDDB!
