Feature: Our Nike P-6000 Campaign
The Nike P-6000 borrows from two of Nike's Pegasus running shoes, so when it came out in 2019, we built our campaign around a horse. We worked with BEYONDXY Creative Studio on the idea: Pegasus, the winged horse from Greek myth, brought down to earth on the English coast, with model Nicole Joseph riding a horse picked to match the shoe's black and white colourway.
What is the Nike P-6000?
Nike calls it a mash-up of Pegasus shoes from the past, drawing on the Pegasus 25 and the Pegasus 2006. It has the early-2000s running look of both: a mesh upper with layers of overlays running across and up the shoe, a foam midsole, and the Pegasus 2006's waffle-pattern outsole underneath. It was never meant for running, though. Nike designed it as an everyday shoe, to bring that turn-of-the-century running look to the street.
Nike's own description of it even mentions a majestic winged horse, which we'd like to think we got to first. It took a while to catch on, and sneaker site Sneakerjagers dates its real rise to 2024 and 2025, five years after we shot it.

Simon Cecere shot the film and the main stills, with additional photography by Naomi Wong. Everything was shot on the coast: on the sand, on a pebble beach, and in the saddle, with the black and white of the P-6000 picked up in the horse's coat. We released a short teaser first, at the start of May 2019, then the full film and the photographs when the shoe landed a week later.
