Closer look at the Vans Anaheim Factory

Our latest arrivals from Vans have come all the way from the first ever Vans Factory in Anaheim, California. To celebrate 50 years of the "Off The Wall' Collection Vans have released these special trainers. The great thing about this latest release is that elements of the Vans trainers can be traced back to the originals in the late 60's and 70's!

Now, let's talk over some of the indie features of these sneakers! The numbers in the titles of the trainers actually correlate to the original sole molds used back in the day. Each style uses a marshmallow sidewall and higher profile, this is then treated using Van's early vulcanization process. They all feature a heavy duty 10oz cotton canvas and a UltraCush footliner, giving the appearance of a classic original but with all the comfort of a modern trainer.
